Apple Macintosh PowerPC 7500 desktop computer The PowerMac 7500 introduced a new wider, more accessible Centris 650-style case. It was powered by a 100 MHz 601 processor (on a removable daughtercard), and had 24-bit composite and S-video input. It sold for £1200, and was replaced nine months later by the 7600. Bringing full upgradability and versatility to the computer market, this apple mac had serious upgradablility, through 8 memory slots and the replaceable daughter card. This coupled with a cache slot, vram slots, 2 interanl hard drive bays and 2 SCSI chains allowed for some serious modding.
