Installation of the pram battery is simple for the majority of macs. Open the top case or side door, remove the black cover from the battery compartment on the motherboard, take out the old battery and install the new one.

This pram battery is easy to fit. Simply take off the keyboard and locate the battery inside near the palm rest on the right hand side.

Make sure you observe polarity when installing the new battery. The + sign is clearly marked on the motherboard!
