The
G4 533mHz powermac is a G4 based Powermac system. With twin G4 procssors and
gigabit Ethernet. It was shipped with an apple stock 29 gig hard drive and
128 megs of 168pin PC100 memory all in a stylish computer case with fold-down
side door. It lacked any floppy drive or mouse. This, luckily, is not an
issue as floppy disks are a thing of the past! This unit was designed with musicians and graphic
designers in mind. The
combination of two processors and a gigabit Ethernet connection made it ideal
for processor intensive tasks and moving large files around a network
quickly.
With
it’s built in digital audio system, faster memory, additional PCI slot and
ability to handle ATA/66 drives, this system has the edge on it’s predecesors.
.
We add the power chord to make sure it’s ready for use straight out the
box. These systems, unlike their
predecessors, will work directly with any SVGA (dsub15) driven PC
monitor. If you do need a
monitor for this system, pleas feel free to ask. We do stock some very good quality models.
These
Macs are great systems and have built in USB, Ethernet, firewire, modem and
the usual plethora of ports. These systems are extremely stable when running
mac OS, and can take the latest operating system on the market without any discernable
drop in performance. This mac will work with a standard SVGA crt screen, such as those sold by Computer Displays. If you require a computer monitor for use with your mac, they would be happy to advise you.
